Mission Statement

Our mission is to help unchurched people become genuine followers of Christ.

At New Vision Community Church our mission is to help people grow in three areas:

1. Intimacy with God - Worship on Sundays.

2. Community With Insiders - Small groups during the week.

3. Influence with Outsiders - "Invest & Invite" outsiders to church on Sundays.

We believe these are the three purposes of the church according to the teachings of Jesus Christ in the "Great Commandment" and the "Great Commission." Here's how He put it:

Matthew 22:37-39 (Living) - Jesus replied, " 'Love the Lord your God (worship) with all your heart, soul, and mind.' [38] This is the first and greatest commandment. [39] The second most important is similar: 'Love your neighbor (ministry) as much as you love yourself.'

Matthew 28:19-20 (NCV) So go and make followers (evangelism) of all people in the world. Baptize them (fellowship) in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. [20] Teach them (discipleship) to obey everything that I have taught you, and I will be with you always, even until the end of this age."

How We Accomplish our Mission

The moment you enter the campus you can feel a difference. People are excited about what God is doing amongst us.

At New Vision you never know what's going to happen next. Each service has contemporary music and relevant, practical messages, but sometimes there's a drama, a video, or an interactive message where a volunteer from the audience gets to participate (don't worry we never embarrass guests). The result is a refreshing church that is unpredictable and enriching.

New Vision has been called the "church for people who don't like church."

Don't misunderstand... we believe in the centuries old message of Jesus Christ, without compromise. We just present that message in a modern way so modern man can understand.

We believe that mature Christians should worship on Sunday, enjoy a small group once during the week, and leaverage some of their time to influence unbelievers towards Christ. That's it. And, that's refreshingly different!
