» Personal Information
Born on November 27, 1953, in Orlando, FL. He resides in Apopka with his wife, Renee'. They have two adult daughters and three grandsons, all of whom are active in church ministry. His hobbies include music and exploring new places. During his travels, he has collected more than 350 eagle replicas and over 250 coffee mugs from around the world.
» Ministerial Experience
He began traveling with his evangelist father in 1965 at the age of twelve. He entered the music ministry in 1968 at the age of fifteen. He was licensed into the Gospel ministry on February 22, 1970; Orlando, Florida and Ordained on October 8, 1972; Orlando, Florida
Dr. Tyler's theme song is "To Be Used Of God." That has been his prayer since 1965. He has ministered in all 50 states, conducted 35 mission trips around the world, visited Washington, DC, 70 times, endorsed 20 military chaplains, trained clergy in 83 countries, pastored a church of 350, and financially sponsored missionaries around the world.
He speaks in public 3-7 times a week and is introduced often as a “pastor to pastors.” In October 2001, he was deployed to the still-burning World Trade Center by the Justice Department during operation "PENTTBOMB." He served two days at ground zero, two days at the temporary morgue, and seven days at the Staten Island Joint Task Force Recovery Operation during the searched for evidence, personal belongings, and human remains. In 2016 he served as a chaplain at the Orlando Pulse Terror Attack Investigation Center, ministering to 500 federal agents and 1,500 other LE officers from 28 agencies.
